Gov Bev Perdue on Education

Back in 2008 there seemed to be much to celebrate as the ex teacher Bev Perdue ran on a platform of increased education money and a greater focus on the education system. In fact the NACCRRA.org published the following article, Teachers: Election a Win for Public Education! and in it they state “Voters in North Carolina elected a former educator and current friend of education to hold their top state spot.
